Signs Your Linear Welding & Fabrication Is Failing

• The gate drags or scrapes at the latch side. This almost always means the hinge post has moved or the weld at the top hinge has fatigued. The gate didn't grow; the structure under it shifted.
• The operator sounds like it is working harder. A Linear opener that hums long and closes slow is fighting a gate that is out of square. The motor is telling you the fabrication failed before you can see it.

You can safely check the obvious things: sight down the gate from the hinge side, look for gaps at the welds, push gently at mid-height to feel for movement where there should be none.
